Public speaking is my hidden talent! Without much for experience, I was thrown into the impromptu speaking contest. As a ball of nerves I didn't know what to expect; on top of a basketball tournament which had our team in the championship game, I wasn't really concerned about how I did at the Palermo Middle Buckle Bonanza. Just to find out I won Grand Champion speaker! From then on out I got first in every contest, even FFA section and regional contests which brought me all the way to the California state finals! Unfortunately for me my luck ran out at the state level, but I am so thankful for the opportunity to compete at such a high level. 

AJSA Western Simmental Reginal

For the second year in a row my family and I participated in the American Junior Simmental Western Regional Show. Luckily for me I didn't come home empty handed. Pictured below you can see I placed 4th overall Senior Public Speaking and 9th overall Senior Livestock Judging. On top of that I received Reserve Champion Owned Simmental Steer!
