This year, I built my own barbecue as a vocational education project and I really enjoyed the experience! It taught me new skills and helped me improve the ones I already had. Seeing the finished product all together was very rewarding, because I wasn't sure I would be able to finish it on time. I wouldn't be able to complete this project if it wasn't for my Ag advisor, Tim Shaw guiding me and opening the shop during the summer so I could work and finish my project.
